Accessibility statement

How we make this website usable for everyone, and how to tell us when something isn’t.

Tax Efficient Advice & Management (TEAM) wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification or voice control.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Automated checks of every page currently find no problems, but the site has not yet been tested by people using assistive technology, so we do not yet claim that it fully meets the standard.

How we checked

On 9 October 2026 we:

  • ran an automated accessibility scan (axe-core) of every page at desktop and phone widths;
  • checked that every page works at 320 pixels wide, the same as a desktop zoomed to 400%;
  • checked that nothing on the site moves or flashes continuously.

Earlier checks, while the site was being built, found one problem: a link on the Contact page that could only be told apart from the text around it by its color. It is now underlined. Links that open a new tab, such as “Pay online”, say so to screen reader users.

Still to test

We have not yet tested the site with screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA), walked through every page with a keyboard alone, tried it on a real phone or in browsers other than Chrome, or checked how the contact form’s error messages are announced. We plan to, and will update this statement when we do.

Content from other companies

The map on our Contact page is provided by Google, online invoice payments are handled by Stripe, and the BrokerCheck and Form CRS links on our Financial Planning page lead to sites run by FINRA and Osaic. We do not control how they are built, and they may not fully meet the standard.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us through our contact page or call us at (831) 475-8795. Say which page you were on and what happened, and we will get back to you.
